About Hacking Path

Hacking Path is a free, structured, hands-on path into ethical hacking and VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) for absolute beginners. There is no login, no cost, and nothing to install, everything runs in your browser.

What's inside

  • A 60-lesson curriculum organised into phases and weeks, from security foundations and how the web works, through Linux, networking, encryption, and reconnaissance.
  • An in-browser terminal sandbox where you run real commands (nmap, ssh, ftp, gobuster, and more). It is fully simulated, nothing real runs and no traffic leaves your machine.
  • A Packet Lab (Wireshark-style display filters) and an interactive phishing quiz to practise the skills, not just read about them.
  • A Check your understanding section in every lesson: type an answer and get instant feedback.
  • Your progress is saved locally in your browser, so there is no account to create.

How to use it

Work top to bottom. Every lesson pairs a short read with something to do in the panel beside it. The goal is fluency: run the commands, break things in the sandbox, and answer the questions until they are second nature.

Who it's for

Complete beginners who want a calm, ordered route into ethical hacking, bug bounty, or a security career, without wading through scattered tutorials.

A note on ethics

Everything here is for education and authorised testing only. The sandbox is fake and safe by design. In the real world, only ever test systems you own or have explicit written permission to test, unauthorised access is illegal.
